The end of going nowhere!

Did Pain in the Domain today for last time as I have signed on with Pat Carroll's online coaching and my new training program has arrived.
Have got tired of putting in a lot of effort for little reward. 10km time has stagnated and not through lack of effort. Spoke to Belinda and felt the only way I could improve was to sign on with Pat Carroll and get some help.
His program has me doing 2 speed sessions a week and has not got me doing a long race until February. He says the best way to improve time in Marathon and Half Marathon is to get the 10km PB down and build on the Sunday long run. First example of how wrong I've been doing it. Running Half Marathons 3 weeks apart has taken speed out of legs so I am glad to have a fresh approach.
I am really feeling excited and motivated with the changes. Pat has suggested I do the 5km at SMC on 21/11. Am looking forward to it as I have never raced over 5km before.
