I am an Ultra Marathon Runner who gains a lot of pleasure in helping others achieve their goals. My wife Belinda dragged me out of my armchair and back into running in August 2003 after a 12 year break. Since this time she has also joined me on my quest of running Ultras covering over 50 miles in the Coastal Classic at Gosford in 2007. This is an example to people what you can achieve if you are consistent in your training. I hope you enjoy following our paths.

Fabulous Friday

Woke up to a beautiful day this morning. Really nice weather for a run this morning. The wind from the last couple of days had dropped and at 5.30 am the temperature was perfect for running.

Thoroughly enjoyed an easy 10.5 km run in just over 49 minutes. Average HR was 138 and just felt great.

Looking forward to the weekend where I will run for 40 minutes tomorrow before heading out with Striders MTG for a slow 15km on Sunday.
