Horrible Humidity
19/11/04
Woke up to another humid day in Sydney this morning. Rain is forecast for the next couple of days and that doesn't surprise me as something's got to give when humidity gets to this level.
I decided to go on my most regular run which is around 10.5km. Ran it in a tick under 51 minutes and felt quite happy when it was over. It was a good run in the sense that I am feeling in control and aware of my pace. I am starting to sense when I am starting to crank it up unintentionally before I get to that point where fatigue sets in. If I am able to regulate my easy runs in this way, I should have more in reserve for hard days. We'll see if it pans out that way.
I am feeling pretty refreshed this morning. I will run Bronte to Bondi with Belinda tomorrow morning at a nice gentle pace before tackling my first 5km race at SMC on Sunday where I am hoping to run under 20 minutes.
