Short, sharp and sweet

Today was interval day. After a 3km warmup, ran 8 x 1 minute efforts with a 45 second standing recovery.
It was a very intense session, but luckily one that was over very quickly.
I think I'm starting to enjoy these sessions as they do hurt but it's not an enduring pain and one that you can recover from very quickly.
I am now looking forward to my midweek long run tomorrow where I will run 16km at around 5 minute pace.
