Introducing better half to interval training
17/12/04
Seeing that the MTG have been doing intervals at Timbrell Park for a while after their run around the Bay, I've been talking Belinda into giving them a go. Well she finally bit the bullet this morning and came out and did 3X1km intervals. The first and third were done at a good pace for her but the second was a bit dusty. But as she told me, it's only her first time doing them and she has to get used to them. I'm just glad she's out there giving it her best which shows how nicely she's building towards Canberra. We will head out some time tomorrow for our Saturday loosener to make sure our bodies are in working order to tackle our Sunday morning challenges.

Every 3km time trial I do with Pat, I end up doing the first and last km hard and struggle on the second. Weird huh.
I think this resulted from doing my intervals like this. I went out hard but then eased off to save something then went hard home. Not the best technique so i will be working on this in 2005.
