3km Time Trial
11/1/05
Ventured down to the bay this morning for a 3km TT. As I was recovering from driving back from Byron Bay and a late night last night watching the cricket and updating my blog, couldn't quite get there when all the other Cool Runners were there.
Warmed up with a light 3km to run some stiffness out of the legs after being in the car all day yesterday. Seemed to work a bit so approached the time trial with a bit of confidence.
Managed 11:36 today which was a second slower than last month before the Christmas and holiday festivities so I've got to be happy with that.
Would have liked to have gone a fraction quicker as I like the idea of my times coming down but form faded in last km. The fact that I'm probably carrying a few extra kgs didn't help.
Finished off with a 4km warmdown for a total of 10km for the day.

Hi Horrie,
Glad you had a good holiday. Sounds like you had some good running. I admire your self discipline in sticking to the program - especially the speed sessions. Great work!
