Going with the flow

As I pulled up a bit stiff around the knees after yesterday's race, did not want to think about how I was going to run this morning.

So I decided to run my usual 10.5km course and just let my body take me on a journey. It was a very relaxing way to run and I soon moved into a nice rhythm. It was quite a humid morning although it didn't seem to bother me this morning. Staying relaxed certainly helps the mind deal with unpleasant things. Finished the run in 48:31 soaked from sweat but feeling great with no soreness in knees. It's amazing what 24 hours can do.

Absolutely Claire. It's a great feeling and one that I would like to replicate in a race one day.
