Recovery run

After 2 pretty solid runs over the last couple of days for Belinda, the plan was to go on a gentle 7.5km run just to keep the legs ticking over. However, after a gentle start, she was concerned that her HR was not high enough and told me we needed to speed it up. I told her to run at whatever speed she felt comfortable at and I would just tag along. The result was around a 3 minute PB for her on this run. Just can't slow her down at the moment. I am taking her to the Bay tomorrow for 3x2km intervals as she is really focussed on running well at the SMC 25km on Sunday. We will then run the same run as today on Saturday but at proper recovery pace so she will be ready to go on Sunday.

Horrie, It seems that yourbacking off a bit and spending more time running with Belinda has really given her a lift. I love they way you revel in Belinda's successes.It sounds to me like Canberra is going to be a wonderful experience for you both.
