Continuing to roll along

3/3/05

After 22km on Wednesday, decided just to run my favourite little 10.5km loop. Did this in a bit over 50 minutes and pulled up feeling great. No ill effects from the recent mileage which is a great sign.

4/3/05

As it was such a nice day, I decided to drive to Bronte and run to North Bondi and back which is just over 6km. Ran this in a leisurely 31 minutes with an average HR of 140.

I have another big day planned for tomorrow with the Striders 10km race in the morning followed by a lap of Quarry Rd track with Plu and Bandanna in the afternoon which will mean at least another 23km is deposited in the bank. Then I will back right off next week so I am fresh to tackle the infamous 6 Foot Track.

Comments:
Looks like a complete recovery, Horrie; & the run to Bondi brings back memories of the 13years we lived in Bronte & trod those paths many a time! Take care at 6ft (I'm hoping to take a crack at it next year!)!

What news do we have of Belinda? LL

Belinda's ankle is slowly on the improve but she is still feeling pain at one point on the inside just above the ankle bone. She has been to Physio who has taped the ankle up to support it better. She is also having orthotics made and has been advised not to run while she is still feeling pain. She is frustrated by this but realises that if she wants to run in Canberra then she must listen to this advice. The goal at the moment is to try and get to the start line at Canberra and just take it from there.

All the best for the 10K tomorrow Horrie. I think it will well and truly put the seal on a complete recovery.
Belinda must be going crazy. I sure hope she will be there at the start line in Canberra.

Well done Horrie.
Good luck with Striders and Quarry Rd tomorrow.
