A better 7.5km today
22/4/05
After yesterday's run, I decided to only do 7.5km today. I eased into the run and just flowed with it. Felt a lot better than yesterday and finished it averaging 4:40 per km running smoothly without really ever pushing it. I'm thinking of doing the East Met 7km race tomorrow as it is only 5 minutes from my place. It's not that often I get a race so close to home so I might as well take advantage of that. Racing short distances is also an easier way to do speedwork sessions.

Thanks for your comment on my blog Horrie. I am looking forward to my training over the next 10 weeks. I am hoping to go to the Gold oast feeling much more confident than I did for Canberra.
Thing, generally, seem to be going well for you. I like your idea about the short distance races.
