Continuing to roll along

18/7/05

We started the week off with a gentle 10.5km loop. We were starting to get over our colds and just ran gently to start another 70km week. It was quite a nippy morning with a chill in the air. We dressed warmly for it and were pleased when it was over.

19/7/05

We did our 10.8km loop just to mix it up a bit. Ran this a bit quicker than the day before and ran at a very consistent pace the whole way. A fraction warmer this morning but still quite cold.

20/7/05

Back to our 10.5km loop for a quicker run this morning. As we hit the snooze button a few times too many, we were running late, hence the quicker pace. It was again a bit warmer than the day before and was quite a pleasant morning to run. Belinda has had a few niggles around the lower part of the leg where she damaged her ankle in the lead in to Canberra. We have to make sure we don't overdo it for the next few weeks. We will back off on 1 run a week as we will be doing a few races over the next few weeks to give Belinda a chance to recover from the tougher runs.

Comments:
Glad to see your both still running well. Look after that ankle Belinda we want you to get to the start this time in sydney and run well.

You two just keep on getting better & better! I hope Belinda's ankle doesn't give her any trouble now; long runs & good pacing; she's doing so well....and so are you, Horrie!
