Midweek update
There has been a lot happening this week. The most pleasant was getting the first issue of R4YL to see a picture of Superflake, Spud and myself on page 3 with a link to page 75. Then I find myself in another 3 pictures and 1 of Belinda in the story on the Sydney Striders. Quite blown away by that. I think Daniel now has a subscriber for life.
Anyway, back to our running. Here is an update of the last 3 days.
11/7/05
Started the week with a gentle 10.5km run. We took it easy as it is important that Belinda just keeps ticking up the kms and staying injury free. We pulled up well but Belinda felt a few twinges in her ankle during that day.
12/7/05
We ran our other run this day, which is a 10.8km loop. For some reason Belinda runs this run a bit harder than our 10.5km run. It just suits her better. As for me, I usually run the other one harder when running on my own. I guess we just develop our own running patterns.
13/7/05
Another 10.5km loop today which we started quite slowly. Both Belinda and I weren't feeling that great this morning and with rain drizzling, we both just felt that we had to get the run done. After we had covered 5km, we started to feel better and we gradually increased the pace. The end result was running about a minute quicker than Monday. The reward for Belinda is a day off tomorrow which she is really looking forward to.
