Tuning up for a big weekend

29/12/05

Belinda decided to have a day off after her effort at Quarry Rd yesterday. I went out on my own for a steady 10.5km. Finished it in just under 51:30 and was quite sweaty by the end as it was quite warm. A good hitout.

30/12/05

Belinda and I decided to head to Centennial Park and do 2 laps of the walking path. We ran the first one very solidly and after we realised it was a PB for the lap for Belinda, we consciously kicked it back a gear as we are getting ready for the 5km Challenge at the Bay tomorrow. It will be Belinda's first trip over 5km and we will be aiming for sub 27. Then we have the tough Beyond the Black Stump Bush Run on New Years Day where the temperature is going to be in the 30s again.
