Speedwork and Exercise Bike

I sandwiched a 6x2 minute fartlek session with a minute jog recovery between each effort in between a 15:30 warm up and a 19:30 warmdown to give me a total of 10.5km in just over 52 minutes. I was very happy with how I felt on the efforts and I managed to run a bit further in the 17 minutes of pleasure and pain than I did in the last time I did this session. Gees it feels good to be running fast again!

With the Cool Running 5km Challenge on tomorrow, I decided to have a shorter session on the bike today. I kept it to 30 minutes but upped the intensity and was very happy with the outcome. I am really starting to enjoy these bike sessions. So much that I might end up doing a triathlon before the year is out.
