Another 10.5km run - getting there
18/5/06
Felt a lot better today and ran a lot smoother. I was able to run it at the same pace as my easy runs leading into Banana Coast. After some concerns expressed by Belinda and Gnome, I had doubts about my ability to hold the 100 minute pace for the Half on Sunday. So I emailed the organisers and raised my concerns. The result of that email is that I am now running 2 Hour pacing duties with the Gnome. So thanks Ray and Spud for your offers to help get me to the finish in 100 minutes but I have realised that the recovery will be better served by taking it easy and strolling it in 2 Hours.

I'm pleased to hear that you are being kind to yourself Horrie. Most of all, enjoy yourself!

That's the best news I've heard in a while. I know that you could have done it, but at what cost? It'll be a fun day back on the 120 ferry :-)
