CR 5km Challenge
24/6/06
Belinda decided to have a go and see where she was at this morning. Happy to report she snuck in under 30 minutes with a 29:50. The muscles around the stressie were complaining a bit afterwards but Belinda seems to think it will settle down after a day or two's rest. I guess it is the muscles just getting used to running hard again.
I ran with Tim this morning not expecting anything special as he has not managed to run under 50 minutes in his 3 efforts since his 46:38 in Canberra. Well he decided to really surprise me with a super effort and managed to sneak in under 46 minutes with a 45:55 for a 43 second PB. Amazing effort helped along by Blue Dog at the end offering him some extra motivation.

YYYAAAAAHHHHHH Fantastic effort on the PB Tim!!! **claps, grins cartwheels**
Good on you for suprising Dad and running so hard this morning. A 43 second PB is a great run and you should be very proud of yourself.
Have you stopped smiling yet???
Hope you got some good photos out there today to record the moment.
Did the cheersquad do you justice? After all your efforts in cheering us all on I hope they cheered you in this morning.
Hope the legs have recovered and I look forward to hearing many more good things Tim.
